THE EXISTENCE
OF ART
in
its essence art music of the west is revolutionary... from the time
of its beginnings it has always been in a state of continual change
and progress.. for a past century of so, since the time the art music
began to be democratized, that is, made available to the masses
if you
want to enjoy the art, first of all you must know the existence of
art, and for that you must be exposed to art... secondly you must
know that art is something to be enjoyed... third you must know that
you must be an artistically cultivated person... fourth, you must
be willing you are an articically cultivated person... and fifth you
must have the means to be an artistically cultivated person... now
all of these are denied to the masses... by whom? by the system...
which system? is there any other but the system, the bourgeois capitalist
system... why is it that the bourgeois capitalist system keeps art
away from the masses... because it recognizes that art can change
the world, enlighten the masses, create the new man... the system
for its own very good reasons, if afraid of change, and out of such
fear it does everything, within its seemingly limitless power, to
keep the masses in darkness and prevent the formation of the new man
and does this by creating and sustaining an immutable and anachronistic
man... western art, by its very nature and true tradition of change,
progress, evolution and revolution, is bound to suggest to the masses
the social ecquivalence of its attributes... therefore it would suicidal
for the bourgeois-capitalist system to let art reach the masses...
then what happens, true art or real art has to be replaced by a zombie
art which can be controlled by the system because for
them backwardness is progress, ugliness is beauty, sickness is health
and poverty is welfare |
